Membership categories

Senior Member

Aged 30 and above and fully paid up. Has served in a position of leadership within the association and is vetted by the Board of Directors. UGX 100,000 per year.

Life Member

Any person who has been in the association for over 10 years and has rendered distinctive service on several committees or boards. Plays an active role in the development of YWCA Uganda. UGX 50,000 (youth) or UGX 100,000 (others) per year.

Associate Member

Any person or institution that does not assent to the declaration of responsibility but wishes to belong to the wider fellowship. Annual subscription of 12 calendar months. UGX 100,000 per year.

Youth Member

Between 18 and 30 years of age, with a fully paid subscription of 12 months. UGX 50,000 per year.

Membership fees: UGX 50,000 for youth and UGX 100,000 for others, for 12 months. Membership is determined by the General Assembly. The fee is paid to the secretariat through the elected district chairperson.

2 Pay your annual fee

Pay the annual fee to the secretariat through your elected district chairperson, who sends it on to the secretariat.

3 Receive your welcome pack

We will confirm your membership and send you a welcome pack.
