TVET Skilling Is Empowerment
YWCA Vocational Training Institute: Skills for Work. Skills for Life.
The YWCA Vocational Training Institute in the heart of Kampala trains young people to earn a living with confidence. We combine hands-on practical learning, industry-linked internships and Christian values of discipline, integrity and service, so that our graduates can get jobs or start their own businesses.
Who can join: learners aged 16 and above, mainly young women but open to young men, including primary and secondary school leavers. We welcome people with disabilities, women from rural communities, urban refugees, people living with HIV, and learners without certificates.
